Bodegas Gallegas lies just 7 miles from Ourense, Gailica. This modern wine cellar is equipped with the most up-to-date winemaking equipment, with 64 stainless steel tanks, temperature controlled fermentation and a capacity for 6m litres and a bottling line for up to 12,000 bottles per hour. Tempranillo is Spain’s signature red variety, has thick skins and as such is capable of making deep coloured, long-lived wines. It ripens early, hence its name derived from the Spanish ‘temprano’, which means early. This wine is a a three-way blend of peppery Garnacha and rich Tempranillo with a dollop of Cabernet Sauvignon to add a little structure. Warm and beautifully balanced, this is perfect on its own or with grilled meats and tapas.
