Monte Pío Albariño

Description

Bodegas Monte Pío is a family-run winery located in Ribadumia (Val do Salnés) in Galicia, north-west Spain. It was established in 1979 and since 2014 has been under the stewardship of Pablo Martinez, the current oenologist and vineyard manager. The average age of the vineyards is 25 years, they are sustainable and they predominantly grow Albariño (Alvarinho in Portugal’s Vinho Verde region), the main grape of the Rias Baixas region.
