Le Due Arbie, Chianti Superiore DOCG 2019
- Bottle Size
- Wine Type
The Dievole estate, which makes this Chianti, has been in existence since the 11th Century. 16 vineyards now cover an area of 400 hectares within the Chianti Classico territory in Vagliagli, about 12 km north of Siena. This is a red with the distinct aroma of dried violet and an unmistakable flavour of ripe cherry. The Chianti Superiore Le Due Arbie is a complex and elegant wine, with a long finish. It had a spontaneous fermentation with native yeast in cement Tulipe vats for about 2 weeks. It aged in large untoasted French oak barrels for 12 months and then spent 3 months in bottle.
