Even Keel Chardonnay 2018

Description

Sam Coverdale has worked all over Australia and Europe and has been making his Even Keel wines since 2006. This wine is made a 7-hour drive from Mornington Peninsula in Tumbarumba, New South Wales. The Chardonnay was originally grown for larger ‘Aussie Chardy’ blends than consolidated many of Tumbarumba’s small sites. The site is owned and managed by Cathy Gairne, whose practices are sustainable in philosophy and organic in practice, but not certified. The vineyard is 700m above sea level and very sadly was significantly affected in the 2020 Australian bushfires.
