The Riebke tradition continues with the 2020 wine – rich, abundant flavour and serious drinkability while also being easy on the pocket. The wine is jam packed with Barossa Shiraz flavours – plums, black fruits and warm spices of cinnamon, nutmeg and 5 spice. There’s a touch of mid palate sweetness, some mocha and black olive and the soft tannins are integrated seamlessly through the mid palate. Teusner took it easy on the oak to allow the rich dark fruit to take centre stage. This is a plush, vibrant wine of immense generosity. (Vegetarian)
