The epitome of aromatic freshness of white grapes cultivated in the high hills, up to 900 meters of altitude: mostly Catarratto, blended with Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Traminer and Moscato to give the wine structure, aromaticity and acidity. A true “Lion”, a symbol of the family’s history. An energetic white with an eclectic array of peach, jackfruit and lychee. Medium to full body, fleshy texture and a medium but driven finish.
Tasca d’Almerita is B Corp certified, entering part of a global movement of companies that meet high standards of social and environmental responsibility. They are also a member of SOStain, the sustainability protocol for Sicilian viticulture, certified by an independent third party agency. They have been a member since 2010.
