Delgado Zuleta Monteagudo, Pedro Ximénez

This sweet sherry is a glossy dark mahogany colour, with aromas of raisins, liquorice and coffee. It’s soft, warm and sweet, with an excellent balance of acidity and sweetness. According to many sommeliers, Pedro Ximenez isn’t a wine for dessert but it is the dessert itself. It goes perfectly with dark chocolate, excellent with ice cream and blue cheese.
