Bouchon, Granito Semillon, Chile

This Semillon is from Block 1 Butuco’s vineyard, Maule’s dry coastal area, 18 miles from the Pacific Ocean and 183 meters above sea level. It’s a product of old vines planted in the 1940s, which didn’t receive any irrigation. It’s a bright yellow colour and has a complex nose of ripe lemon and pear fruit flavours with well-integrated oak notes, plus layers of complex fruit and mineral notes, and a long finish.
