Winemaking: This Carpe Diem Red was fermented and aged in stainless steel. Having seen no oak it's a youthful, fruit filled style. The grapes used were fermented with daily pump overs to extract more colour and body. After 3 weeks this was then pressed and aged in tank before being put into bottle in the spring of 2025.
Tasting Notes: Dark purple in colour, this red wine is deceptively light bodied and fruity. Aromas of black cherries, berries and spice. The palate is soft with gentle stewed fruits and delicate tannins. Perfect alongside a wide variety of cuisines. Excellent with turkey and roast duck.
