Tasting Notes:Gorgeous rich vanilla infused aromas. Hints of wild mushrooms and spicy farmyards. Red fruits and red bush tea leaves lead on to raspberries and cassis fruit with cigar box notes intermingling. The immaculate red fruit flavours persist on the palate while the lovely acidity keeps things fresh and clean.
Winemaking: 100% ungrafted bush vines, planted in 1919. Fermentation is by indigenous flora, isolated from the specific block. The wine spends 24 months in new French oak casks and a further 12 months in bottle before release. No fining or filtration.
