Tasting Notes: Complex floral, citrussy, and sweet spice notes. It has wonderful, broad, vinous flavours with hints of citrus and more spice and a lingering finish. A textured wine that is more than a match for full flavoured chicken or perfect served with grilled fish.

Winemaking: This is the first labelled single vineyard wine in Cyprus, and a PDO (protected designation of origin) wine. The vineyard lies at a height of 900m above sea level on the southern slopes of the Troodos mountains. The grapes are fermented using natural yeasts followed by maturation sur-lies. Zambartas Winery was founded by Akis Zambartas, one of the first French-trained oenologists in Cyprus, who for many years was winemaker at Keo. Crucially, Akis researched and recorded the indigenous varieties of Cyprus in the 1980s, preserving them for the future, and eventually leading to him setting up his own winery in 2006 focusing on these indigenous varieties.
