Description

This Viognier comes from low-yielding vines planted on two specially selected sites in the Languedoc-Roussillon area of southwestern France. The different soils found in the vineyards influence the flavour of the wine: pebbly soils bring concentration, while alluvial soils lend freshness. By combining wines from the two vineyards, the winemaker can achieve balance in the final blend. This wine has classic Viognier characteristics of ripe apricot and summer flowers. Medium-full in body, with a soft texture and a refreshing streak of citrus, this is summer in a glass. An ideal partner for creamy pasta, seafood and mushroom dishes, pork with herbs, and salads.
