Cesani, Vernaccia di San Gimignano



Cesani is an organic estate in Frazione Pancole in the north-west of the San Gimignano region of Tuscany, Italy. Vincenzo Cesani, a business, took over the estate from his parents Guido and Annunziata, and specialised in the production of wines and extra virgin olive oil. Operations continue through Vincenzo’s daughters Letizia and Marialuisa. The two sisters have helped to transform this authentic rural reality into a dynamic agricultural and wine-producing estate.

This traditional version of Vernaccia di San Gimignano, the first grape variety in Italy to gain DOC status after the system was established in 1963, was aged in stainless steel tanks and released on the market the year after the harvest. It has yellow tints, with green apple aromas and a fresh, dry and typical almond after taste.
